What is Microblading?
Microblading is a relatively new, manual method of permanent cosmetics specifically for eyebrows. It is considered semi-permanent and performed using a tool with very fine, sterile, disposable needles to deposit pigments into the epidermis. Because we’re impacting color closer to the surface, the strokes appear crisp, very fine, and extremely natural.
This method is ideal for anyone wanting to enhance the look of their eyebrows. The results are natural looking, hair-like strokes, regardless of the amount of hair present.
The results are a natural, flawless, fuller looking brow. Initially, the brows appear darker, but fade significantly over the healing process. It is ideal to have a complimentary touch up which is included in the initial price that is performed 6-8 weeks after the initial service.
The results can last up to 3 years. However, we recommend a touch-up annually to retain the shape and saturation of pigment.
What is the difference between Microblading (Cosmetic Tattooing) & Standard Body Tattooing?
The purpose of cosmetic tattooing is to enhance the natural features of a client. Cosmetic tattooing is softer and more subtle - it is meant to be a natural-looking enhancement. Body tattoos use ink, while cosmetic tattoo procedures involve pigments. These pigments are designed to gently fade over time. Fading is desired as it allows the artist to make changes to color and shape over the years as client's natural coloration and facial changes occur.
Who is Microblading For?
Microblading is perfect for those who want to cover up old scars, fill in over plucked brows that won't grow back, or to simplify your morning routine, and is excellent for people suffering from conditions that cause hair loss.
